The world is changing faster than ever before. Power grids fail, food systems grow fragile, and global tensions rise. In times like these, survival isn’t about fear it’s about readiness. At Cape Preppers Club, we believe in preparedness through knowledge, community, and skill. We’re a growing network of everyday South Africans who refuse to be caught unprepared. Together, we learn how to provide for ourselves from food production and off-grid power to bushcraft, first aid, and home security. Here, you’ll find real people with real purpose, families, farmers, tradesmen, and professionals all working toward one common goal: to stand strong, self-reliant, and united no matter what tomorrow brings.
The Cape Preppers Club operates as a closed, invitation-only organisation. Due to the sensitive nature of our training, locations, and operations, we do not accept walk-in or public applications. All new members must be introduced, verified, and screened by an existing member before joining. This security protocol protects our community, our training integrity, and the safety of our families. In any real SHTF scenario, operational security becomes essential and we apply that mindset from day one. Every member must demonstrate commitment, maturity, reliability, and a genuine passion for preparedness and survival. Our website exists solely to provide information and to help interested individuals understand who we are. If you believe you share our values and wish to join, you must first be referred by a current member. Only serious, disciplined, and dedicated individuals will be considered. Your safety and ours depends on strong screening. We prepare together, we train together, and we only move forward with people we can trust.

In a densely populated environment, the key to survival is preparedness, security, and community coordination. Members learn how to secure their homes against break-ins, looting, and civil unrest by reinforcing entry points, establishing layered defenses, and maintaining a low-profile presence. We teach practical methods to build and manage food, water, and essential supply stockpiles, ensuring families can remain self-sufficient for extended periods without relying on unstable infrastructure.
Rural Survival focuses on long-term self-reliance in farm and small-town environments where access to supplies, medical services, and security support may be limited during a crisis. Members learn how to create sustainable systems that reduce dependence on outside resources, including water harvesting, off-grid power solutions, small-scale food production, and livestock management.
Wilderness Survival prepares members to operate as a small group typically up to 15 people living entirely off the land for extended periods. This training focuses on the core principles of true self-reliance: shelter, water, fire, food, and group coordination. Members learn how to construct durable shelters using natural materials, maintain fire under all weather conditions, and locate, purify, and store water in remote areas.
CPC members to operate as a group of up to 15 people in demanding shoreline environments where wind, tides, and limited fresh water create unique challenges. Members learn how to identify safe landing zones, set up protected coastal camps, and build shelters that withstand salt air, sand, and strong coastal weather. Food procurement centers on shoreline fishing, netting, spearfishing, and harvesting shellfish and edible marine plants, ensuring the group can sustain itself from the ocean’s resources. Training includes understanding tides, currents, and coastal weather patterns to prevent accidents and to choose the safest foraging and travel windows.
